| Fast User Switching Recently, Fast User Switching has become disabled on my PC and I get the following message: "A recently installed program has disabled the Welcome screen and Fast User Switching. To restore these features, you must uninstall the program. The following file name might help you identify the program that made the change: GTGina.dll" The file "GTGina.dll" is in the Windows/System32 folder. I haven't installed any new programs on this machine recently, certainly not within months before this problem started. Any ideas how I can fix it? Thanks. |

| Re: Fast User Switching Hi Curt, Thank you. I went via the link you suggested and found exactly the fix required - basically, I needed to copy some of the Linksys files, then unplug the Linksys USB Wireless adapter and uninstall the Linksys program. After re-booting I plugged in the USB adapter in again and, when asked where the driver was, directed it to the files I had previously copied from the Linksys software, without having to reinstall the complete program. Now it's all working correctly again and FAST USER SWITCHING is enabled. I still don't know why the problem has only occurred recently, because I've had the Linksys adater on the PC for months, but it's working now, so that's really all that matters. Thanks again for the help. "Curt Christianson" wrote: > Hi Merlin, > > That file appears to be part of Linksys software.
