RE: Norton Internet Security

Can you please tell me if you ever found a solution to your problem as the
same thing has just happened to me? Thanks. If anyone else reads this that
may have an answer I would be very grateful.

Re: Norton Internet Security

Hello,

Try running the Norton Removal Tool located here
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...05033108162039

And try reinstalling again.

(..and stand by for Norton bashers =)..)

If you can't uninstall it go to the Symantec website and get their removal
tool. After NIS is removed use system restore to go back to a restore point
before the NIS install was attempted.

Don't bother with NIS or the other Norton home products such as NAV. There
are other good alternatives that are less resource intensive and less
problematic.
