Auto start an application

Can anyone help me out with Windows XP?

I need this computer with WinXP to automatically start and then run the
Remote Desktop Connection.

This is pretty works fine by editing the MSConfig but what else I need is to
have it shown only on the Windows and nothing else. I do not want to see all
the desktop icons or the Start button as well as the Status bar. Just run
Windows Xp and when started it will run the Remote Desktop Connection.

Can this be done on WinXp?

Appreciate any assistant.

Click Start / Help, click the Search tab, then look for
"Start automatically". There is a lot of help in Help!

Re: Auto start an application

create a shortcut to the application on the desktop, by right click of the application and select send to and then shortcut to desktop.
then DRAG the shortcut to the STARTUP folder under Start - All Programs.
