.net framework initialization error.

Hi Gang,
I just installed win xp pro. Did all the updates that I know of but I
am getting this error each and everytime I log in.

..net framework initialization error. v2.0.50727

Any ideas on what is causing this? I couldn't have a more vanilla machine
at this point.

Thanks,

Bob

Try a repair of .net framework 2.0. Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove
Programs>Net Framework 2.0>Change/Remove>Repair.

Re: .net framework initialization error.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for responding. When I go to control panel all I see is net
framework 1.1. I do not see 2.0 at all. So likely I'm missing the 2.0
version. Is there a link you can suggest where I can download this.

Thanks,

Bob
