| Dual Monitor Problem - Primary Computer is Incorrect Hello, I am trying to extend my laptop computer screen onto a secondary dell trinitron monitor that is connected to the laptop through the docking station and running Windows XP. When I go to Control Settings, Display, Settings, I see the two monitors, click on the second one and choose Extend my desktop. Both screens go dark for a second and the extension works, HOWEVER, my monitor is now the primary and my laptop is the secondary. Everything works fine except for this feature, which makes it such that I have to reboot my laptop when I disconnect the monitor in order to use it again. I would really appreciate any help you may have about how to correct this problem or why it is doing it. I have tried to deselect the "Use this computer as the primary" for the monitor but it is grayed out. Thank you! KW |

| Re: Dual Monitor Problem - Primary Computer is Incorrect Thanks, Larry, but this is not an option. Clicking on the external monitor one has the entry checked and greyed. Clicking on the laptop one has the entry not checked, but still greyed out. Other ideas?
