Another file transfer ?

A little perplexed on the file transfer wizard.
Am transferring from XP to XP but want to transfer some select programs NOT
all of them. Is this possible, or does the wizard transfer everything that
has an .exe for example?

Thanks
Doug

Files and settings are transferred, not installed programs. Programs have
to be reinstalled from their original media.

All programs, except for a rare trivial one, have many associated files and
entries pointing to them within Windows, in the registry and elsewhere. So
you can not move applications from one computer to another.
