| "switch user" works "Log Off" hangs Windows XP Recently when attempting to log off, the machine will go through the shut down procedure, saving settings, logging off, then hangs at a blank screen. If you choose switch user, goes back to the user panel so someone else can log on, slowly, but it works as intended. Spysweeper finds nothing. Norton finds nothing, and "complains" ccapp not responding is a frequent annoyance that I just close. Thanks |

Do some clean boot troubleshooting. (Note: you are better off without Norton. There are good low cost or free alternatives). | Re: "switch user" works "Log Off" hangs I'm having the same problem but I removed Norton from my machine over a month ago so I'm not getting the message about ccapp not responding. Best to post a new thread with your issue rather than post it as a reply to an existing thread.
