| How to safely delete all System Information Volume content/System restore points ? From the beginning of my WinXP installation I turned off Monitoring (and creating of System Restore points) for my drive D: (I enabled it only for drive C:). Much to my surprise I detected recently that some System Restore Points exist for drive D: How can that happen? I decided to delete them. With menu START->Programs->Accessories->SystemTools->DiskCleanup I can delete all but the last System restore Point and the necessary amount of hard disc space is shrinked to 20MB. Fine. Is there a chance to get rid of the last 20 MB (=The last System Restore Point as well)? Can I simply delete the SystemVolume Information folder or does this cause troubles ? Rod |
