Windows Media Player Codec Problem

Hello

I was wondering if anyone could help/advise about the following:

I have a PC that is unable to play certain.WAV files in Window Media Player
that play on other machines. I have updated the PC in question to the latest
version (11) in the hope it would resolve the issue but without success.
Media Player brings up a message 'Windows Media Player cannot play the file
because the Vivo G.723 (111) codec in not installed on your computer'. I've
followed the suggested link to WMPlugins.com but it does not contain this
file. Does anyone know where I can get a hold of this codec file or have any
other suggestions about how to resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance. Mark
