slides

I am trying to scan slides with my HP photosmart 3210. I am unable to
get it to give me seperate slide results - instead I get a scan of the
whole bed. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: slides

I'm not familiar with your machine, but I have a HP Officejet 6210 with
scanner. To be able to select different areas of the scan you need to check
the preview box before you scan. Then you have the option of selecting
different areas of the scanned surface to print, edit, etc. I've tried to
scan slides but haven't had very good success with them. Costco will print
slides for $.29 each.

Re: slides

Yes, that's the similar to the way my Epson works, but the OP should
contact HP as far as the situation they have.

I have tried HP several times. Earlier this year, they told me to get
into the "scan to" configuration settings and change the number at the
end of the line. I kept all info except what # they told me to use.
In trying to get them to help me again, after I explain what I need,
they take me back to the beginning and have yet to give me the info I
am seeking.
