consolidated updates?

Sorry you MS update lovers but I am quite the contrary.
Is there ANYWHERE I can obtain a CD or DVD with the latest cumulative
updates for XP (already have SP2, don't mean that)? I prefer to have
full control over what updates are or are not installed (or needed!) and
when they are installed.

Any help appreciated!

Re: consolidated updates?

you can choose the administrative options or check microsoft's technet site.
Not sure if they have CD's, but they usually have downloadable files which
you can then chose to install or not install.

Then don't use automatic updates. I don't. Do a manual scan, see what
updates are offered, read about each one, download the ones you want, then
install it. There is no cumulative CD for post SP2 updates AFAIK.
