Battery Meter Icon in Taskbar

I have a problem with my battery meter icon not always showing up in my
taskbar. It is checked to "always show" but sometimes decides to just not be
there. Every now and the it happens with my other icons that I normally have
there too but mostly the battery meter icon and the volume icon.

Any ideas?

RE: Battery Meter Icon in Taskbar

BTW... logging off and back on does help sometimes and getting into my
settings where I can toggle between showing and not showing often helps too
but not always.

But I'm hoping for a fix so that I no longer have to do that everytime I
want to see one of those icons.

Thanks!

Why don't you go to:

http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/top10faqs.htm

and try the fix, the tenth item down:

"Why don't my Notification Area icons show or why do they disappear?"

See if this would fix your problem.

RE: Battery Meter Icon in Taskbar

Really don't know.

I used their fixes on a number of occasions, they work, and I haven't had
the time to figure out how they work. I recall I had this problem when you
asked, and it fixed it for me.
