| downloaded upgrade not recognized by ie7 i downloaded all the upgrades for windows xp service pack 1 to service pack 2. now ie7 download won't run because it still recognizes service pack 1. how can i get servise pack 2 to be recognized?      |

It's called Service Pack 2. Did you download and install it? What are "all the upgrades" you downloaaded?
