| Re: Partition resize problem Partition magic or others perhaps, your call.. http://www.thefreecountry.com/utilit...neditors.shtml XP's Disk Management can't do it , you'll need a third party partition manager app.. Do not install it, just run the program and that will put you into Maintenace mode where you can resize the existing partitions without destroying the contents. Good luck Ron Martell Duncan B.C. | Re: Partition resize problem If all the folders and files on E: that will temporarily fit on C:, move them there. Afterwards, delete the E: partition. Create a new partition to include all freespace. A reboot may be required. Move the folders and files back to E: Otherwise, a 3rd party partition application is required. -- Noncompliant "John" <John@nospam.infovis.co.uk> wrote in message news:%2313LOiTXHHA.1212@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > Hi > > I have two partitions on primary disk with a free space between the two as > below; > > | Drive C Space | Free Space | Drive E Space | > > Is there anyway I can expand E drive space to include the free space > without reinstalling win xp from scratch? > > Thanks > > Regards > > |
