| RE: Dual Monitors - Windows XP??? Hi, I'm looking into this issue as well. XP can handle up to 10 monitors, concurrent. I guess the question is if we can connect an adapter [1 VGA Y male to 2 VGA female] and get the operating system to detect it. It makes sense that the current need would be greater, but to what extent... I do not know? -- Thanks, D-man "cadman5150" wrote: > I was once told that Windows XP supports the use of two monitors without having to install a second video card. > Does anyone know if this is true? > If it is...how is this done? > -- > cadman5150 |

You need to have a video card that handles multiple monitors. The card will come with multiple connections. And you can also add additional cards. -- Rock [MS-MVP User/Shell] |

| Re: Dual Monitors - Windows XP??? I see, so either you are given the dual monitor adapter as a sign that your card has this capabilty or you are not. thanks, Rock! -- Thanks, D-man "Rock" wrote: > "D-man" <Dman@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote > > Hi, I'm looking into this issue as well.
