Right click my taskbar>toolbar>quick launch and check it wull show a bunch of
icon but its not showing the "Show Desktop" icon. How can I get it showing
(its not hidden either). Appreciate your advice, thanks

1. Open Notepad,
2. Copy/Paste following lines in it :

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

3. Click File, Save as..
4. Copy/Paste the following line in File name box :
%appdata%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Show Desktop.scf
5. Click OK
