Under System failure untic Automatically restart. Ok out. Now try a shutdown. If it's an error causing this it should go to a blue screen with text of the error message. Do you mean the dialog box that appears when you click on shutdown when the Welcome Screen is disabled? This doesn't appear if the Welcome Screen is enabled. | Re: pc restart byitself after shut down At last back on this subject, uncheck the automatic restart, it does not help. It will continue to restart and as if there is a preset time ( say after 6 sec of shutting down), it will auto restart. Guess if I dont solve this problem asap, more problems will crop up .
