| someone not receiving my emails one of my friends does not get my emails. We are both on outlook express and bt yahoo and she does not get any emails I send even if I reply to one she send me. I do not get a failed delivery report and I am not on her blocked sender, spam or trash. Everyone else gets my emails and this is really annoying us - any ideas.?Everything was okay up until the beginning of the year and neither of us have done anything different as far as we know. |

| Re: someone not receiving my emails Send one to her, but instruct her to check her ISP's Web mail instead of using OE. If the message shows up in Web mail then something on her local PC is blocking the message. A while back, any mail I sent to an AOL recipient was rejected by AOL if their scan found 'www.freeservers.com' in the message. However, I did get an immediate reject. That problem seems to have gone away. An ISP might not deliver a message based on content or subject line by their filtering, but you should see a rejection but who knows. Dave Cohen |

| Re: someone not receiving my emails Are you allowing OE to autocomplete her address ? if so, manually address an email and try that. It is just bugging us so much now, and if she can email me, is the problem my side? |

| Re: someone not receiving my emails Since most ISPs allow up to 8 or more addresses, I might create a new address and add it as a new Profile under OE. Try to send using that address. If received that would preclude software/settings on the PC blocking the address and point to an issue with your Day-to-Day profile. | Re: someone not receiving my emails if you can receive her mail, but she can't receive yours, then possibly she has got your e-mail address blocked, ask her to check her settings again and look in the blocked addresses, she may have done this by mistake. | Re: someone not receiving my emails If copies of the sent messages appear in Sent Items folder (assuming you have the option enabled) and you're using the correct address, the problem isn't on your end (and vice versa). -- OE-specific newsgroup: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...xpress.general ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) Angela wrote: > one of my friends does not get my emails. Yes - an email from a new address was delivered to her so you are correct. However, I cannot understand why she cant get any from my old address when all my other contacts do? It is just bugging me. Would the problem be her end, although she is adamant she has checked everywhere. I suspect some sort of filter but she says not. Anyway - thanks for solving the main problem! |
