Hard Drive Crashed

Hi Guys

I facaing one problem with windows 2000 Profssional l, I have a Dell
Precsion 380 System and on this ssytem after some days second hard drive
crashed i shows "Incorrect Prameters" it's not accessable
first time i recovered data and format it for some days it works fine

But now same problem i am facing in event viewer it shows follwing code



Event Type: Error
Event Source: Ntfs
Event Category: Disk
Event ID: 55
Date: 2/13/2007
Time: 7:02:23 PM
User: N/A
Computer: IND-SKIRAHA
Description:
The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run
the chkdsk utility on the volume E:.

It sounds like the hard drive has failed. Download a diagnostic utility
from the drive mftr.'s website. You will create a bootable cd/floppy
with this file. Boot with the media you created and do a thorough test
of the hard drive. If the drive fails any physical tests, replace it.

Did you; Run chkdsk as the message indicated?
Did you; click the URL to see if there was any useful information there?

But it's not physically damaged, if i format it so it will work for some
day. But after some day same problem i will face, i want to know how can i
resolve this issue permantenly

How do you know "it's not physically damaged"? Did you run the drive
mftr.'s diagnostic? If you did not, you have no way of knowing the state
of the drive and therefore cannot get an answer to how to "resolve this
issue permanently".
