Hi,
Every time I try to install the .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 from
Windows Update or by downloading it from www.microsoft.com/downloads I get
an error message even before the installation starts:

SL48.tmp has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for
the inconvenience.

Why is that happening and how can I install that SP?
