| Continuous reboot after Windows XP update Hi, my laptop was running perfectly under Windows XP Pro SP2, and suddenly after I decided to visit Microsoft Update to make sure I patch the system for any security issues I could be exposed to I encounter with a looped boot problem... Unfortunately after updates were installed the system asked to reboot the computer, which I did, and I havent been able to start Windows again, not even in safe mode nor Last Well known confiuration. I tryed entering the recovery console and renaming kernel32.dll to kernel32.old and expanding a new copy from the installation CD with no success when booting. Can you please advise me with a solution to this problem other than reinstalling everything... Thanks in advance, Roger Meyers |
