english language version install of OE

Hello NG!

I want to install an English language version of OE instead of the German
language version I have been having.

How to do that?

Thanks,
Steve

No can do. You can, however, download and install Thunder Bird in
English. Get it at http://www.mozilla.com/thunderbird Unlike OE,
Thunderbird has a very good built-in spam control and a spell check that
checks as you type.

Re: english language version install of OE

Hello Alias!

Thanks for your reply! Why did you remove my signature?

I had Thunderbird installed. For the reason there was no signature button
I switched back. I know it works cause I've had an English version.

I'm having figured now to install Java lets you set up your Windows new
shortly a while after installing, not anything else. So I want the English
version of OE back. Can someone else please give me a good advice.

OE is no longer bundled to IE with the new IE 7 I got to know. So best
was first OE/IE in English and IE 7 afterwards.

Thank you,
Steve

Thunderbird does that automatically.

No button but you can have a signature. Look under Account Settings.

If Windows is not English, OE won't be either.

.. . . perhaps because Alias felt uncomfortable with your trailer.
You wrote
"the volume of the mass of it's particles" but it should really be
"the volume of the mass of its particles".
"it's" is a concatenation of "it is":
"It's hot in here" = "It is hot in here".
"The dog wags its tail".

Thank you for your reply, Pegasus! I'm gonna be think about that! Do you
feel the "'" in "it's" was that bad at this place? I though it was the
better
choice there.

Steve

It's not a question of a better or worse choice but a question
of syntax. Decide for yourself which of your two statements
makes any sense:
1. "the volume of the mass of its particles"
2. "the volume of the mass of it is particles"

Since #2 makes no sense, #3 is equally wrong:
3. "the volume of the mass of it's particles"

I have changed that. My web space does now look more and more
'uncool'.

It's not a concatenation of it is. It's a contraction of it is.
I don't believe there is such a word as concatenation.

A dictionary is a wonderful thing to own, especially when unsure
about the existence of a certain word.
concatenate=to link or join together
concatenation=a series of connected events etc.
From Latin com=together + catena=chain

What language is Windows? If it's not English then you can't have a version
of OE in English (note: I always snip signatures. They aren't needed in a
reply).

Actually, you can change part of it to English if you have another
computer with OE in English if you import all the .dbx files from the
English language computer. You will only get Inbox, Sent Items, Deleted
Items and Drafts changed to English though. Oh, and sometimes it works,
and sometimes it doesn't :-)

Hello!

It's a German version, and I know I had English IE/OE installed.
