| Recent Documents in Start Menu Fails to Record New Docs (w/ Classic Menu) Hi, I have the Classic start menu, but recently, my "Documents" menu under the Start menu refuses to record any new documents opened -- it is empty except for "My Documents" and "My Pictures." I can't for the life of me figure out what I did to make that change. I've investigated group options in Administrative Services and nothing that would suppress Recent Documents seems to be enabled. If I move to the modern XP start menu, then something even stranger happens: I see no "Documents" menu at all... and I've tried switching the "list my most recent documents" option on and off repeatedly... it seems to make no difference at all. However, the modern menu DOES seem to keep track of newly-opened programs. Any ideas on what's going on here? Thanks! |
