How to setup a network with 255+ IP addresses

Our network currently has 240 IP devices taking up addresses. Every device
has a static IP address. We don't have any Windows servers. Since we are
getting close to maxing out our subnet (255 addresses), is there a way to add
a new subnet (preferably without having any Windows servers) and have all the
devices on the network be able to talk to each other? Or, is there a better
way to give ourselves more than 255 IP addresses?

Re: How to setup a network with 255+ IP addresses

Do you use subnet 255.255.255.0
Can't you use 255.255.0.0

We use static adresses do our printers with 172.16.3.x
Computers are at 172.16.4.x

Re: How to setup a network with 255+ IP addresses

To elaborate on the suggestion by The Marker, it's called supernetting:

"By taking away bits from the network portion of the address, we reduce
the number of subnets and increase the number of hosts."
