| Create image with bad clusters and restore (???) I have an HP DX2000mt system which in the last 6 months crashed 4 times with a BSOD message : STOP: c0000218 {Registry File Failure} The registry can load the hive (file): \SystemRoot\System32\Config\Software Or its log or alternate. It is corrupt, absent, or not writable Beginning dump of physical memory Dumping physical memory to disk: xx% All first 3 times i fixed the problem by deleting everything and restoring an image (Acronis) i have. I use the same image to several other HP DX2000mt machines with no problem at all. In this 4th time i decided to check the internet about this msg and found a solution that worked and the machine is booting fine right now. I also did several checks on the machine and found out that there were 51 bad clusters which they were recovered as stated by the disk utility i used. (HDD Regenerator v1.51). My question is this: If i create a new image in this machine with the 51 bad and recovered clusters, change the HDD with a new one and restore the image to the new HDD, is it possible to have the same problem? Will the image contain the bad clusters or not? |

If TrueImage can successfully make an image then its restoration on another disk won't have any clusters marked as bad. |
