Powering Down Data Drive

A computer has two drives, C: and D:. Is it possible with XP SP3 to cause the
data drive (D:) to power down independently of Drive C: when it has not been
accessed in a while? I thought I did this once, but I am unable to retrace my steps.

Re: Powering Down Data Drive

The power saving option :"Turn off hard disks" is a global setting &
would apply to both the C: & D:, with no independent control for each.
