| Powering Down Data Drive A computer has two drives, C: and D:. Is it possible with XP SP3 to cause the data drive (D:) to power down independently of Drive C: when it has not been accessed in a while? I thought I did this once, but I am unable to retrace my steps. |

| Re: Powering Down Data Drive The power saving option :"Turn off hard disks" is a global setting & would apply to both the C: & D:, with no independent control for each.
