Laptop question

sorry if question is not too close associated with winXP, but does anyone
know where to purchase sturdy cardboard box specially designed to send
laptops by mail? For more safe, I want place original pack into second
cardboard box, somewhat larger than the laptop box, allowing heaps of extra
room all round for packing with solid foam and bubble wrap.

thanks.

Well since I don't know where you live... Here in the USA you can go to
the UPS Store and they have all kinds of boxes and other packing
material available.

So, what operating system does this laptop run? If it's Windows XP,
you can ask here, and maybe somebody will help you. But if it's some
other operating system, you should ask in the appropriate newsgroup or
forum for that operating system. <gd&r>

Re: Laptop question

I meant to buy somewhere online for my friend, there is no UPS store, no
Fedex, no DHL, nothing, just some deserted desolate area near u.s.- canadian
border, terrible service..There is no computer shop in the near vicinities,
not even normal business.

put the laptop in plastic bag and
make it water proof.

the put it in a laptop carrier/bag
