Taskbar moved on desktop

My taskbar now displays on the right side of my screen and nothing I've tried
moves it back down to the bottom of screen. How do I correct this.

Right on a blank area of the Taskbar.
If "Lock the Taskbar" in the popup menu has a checkmark next to it, click once
on it to unlock the Taskbar.
Press/hold down the Right mouse button on a blank area of the Taskbar and drag
it back to the bottom of the screen.

To clarify Brian's post, right-CLICK on a blank area of the taskbar and see
if "Lock the taskbar" is checked, If so, uncheck it.
Press and hold the LEFT mouse button and drag the taskbar to where you want
it.

Re: Taskbar moved on desktop

Lock the Taskbar was not checked and I tried right clicking on different open
areas and it would not move.

=====================================
Place your pointer on a blank area of the taskbar
Press and Hold your left mouse button
Move your Pointer to the bottom of the screen
Release the mouse button

Although by default the task bar appears on the bottom of the screen,
it can be on any of the sides you prefer it on. To move it from any
side to another, simply click on an unused part of it and drag it
where you want it. Be sure to click *within* it, not on the edge;
clicking on the edge and dragging will resize it, not move it.

If it won't move, it may be locked. In that case, right click on it
and uncheck "Lock the taskbar," then try again.
