| Strange noises downloading XP Home SP3 on Toshiba Satellite laptop With some downloads (not all) I get a repetitive metallic tac-tac-tac and the system hangs. Any idea what is happening? Thank you |

| Re: Strange noises downloading I thought of that, but it works fine other than for two dowload sites. Elsewhere I have been told that those using Firefox are having the same problem due to bad Java script on those pages. I am not sure what to try next.
