Installing XP SP0 on MacBook Pro 13'

I'd like to install Windows XP on my new MacBook Pro. Its ("BootCamp")
documentation says that Windows XP Service Pack 2 and later are
supported. However, I only own the original XP CD (before Service
Packs). Does anyone know if I will be able to install this old XP and
then update it? What do I need for it? I tried searching for this
information online but without much luck.

You can slipstream SP2 using his method:
http://www.winsupersite.com/showcase...slipstream.asp
(If your original XP CD is at SP1a, you can slipstream a new one with SP3
using the same method. )
You then use the slipstreamed CD to install XP on your MacBook.

The easiest way to to borrow a copy of XP with SP2 and load that. You
just use the serial etc from your original XP disk and it will work fine.

David - who did that

If you cannot get hold of an SP2 installation CD you'd have to
"slipstream" SP2 into the original XP SP0 disk - you'd have to google
that for instructions, I avoid Windows as far as I can (which is not
always unfortunately).
While you'r at it - get SP3 if you can, it's a free download.
