ASR won't read floppy - Technology Questions

ASR won't read floppy

When I boot from CD...press f2 when prompted...insert floppy when asked...hit
any key...start ASR...then asks for the floppy again. That's as far as I get.
It's like it doesn't recognize the files on the floppy. Drive lights up then
nothing. I know the disk is OK cause I loaded a video on it just to be sure
and it played fine. Any ideas appreciated. Thanx, Joe.
