Reboot the machine. If the lines are still there, do a System Restore to a
point before the lines appeared. Still there? You may have video hardware
trouble. Check the video cable connections from the computer to the monitor.
Attach the monitor to a different computer to test the monitor. Swap the
video adapter card for a known working one. If onboard video, add a known
working card and disable the onboard video in the BIOS. No joy? What is the
malware status of the computer? Still bad?--- Drive a stake through the hard
drive.
