Windows Firewall cannot be turned off

Hi,

For some reason the settings for my windows firewall is grayed out and set
to on. I want it to be off since it interferes with our corporate firewall.
We have everyone turn of their firewall but I no longer can do this. The
userId has administrative rights so it is not a permissions thing. I have
tried logging on as the network administrator but it remains grayed out and
set to on. Can someone help?

Thanks,

The instructions are at the top of the page. But basically, you
right-click the link to the .reg file, and save it to the desktop. Then
double-click the file and it will be installed automagically. Or,
right-click, click Merge.
