Im not able to join windows xp sp2 to newly installed windows 200

Hi

Im not able to join windows xp sp2 to newly installed windows 2003 server
sp1 standard R2. I think firewall is blocking the process. when i disable the
firewall on the 2003 server, im able to join the winxp client to domain. can
you please help me joining the client to domain with firewall enablel. thanks

Many firewalls will prevent you from doing this. This is a firewall
issue, not a Windows issue - check the FAQs of your firewall
manufacturer. Anyway, there is no harm in turning off the firewall
for a moment, provided that your server uses a router to connect to
the Internet.
