In these groups, how do I quickly get to my own posts? Some icon, switch?

At the top, in the search bar, type in your nick, then it just displays posts
that you have anything to do with.

P.S. you will probably need to search for something like "pe", or think of a
longer nick!

Stop using the web page interface and utilize a true newsreader...
Also - when searching for old posts - Google Groups is a much better
alternative.

You are using the web interface to participate in this newsgroup. It's the
slowest, clunkiest, most error-prone method there is. Do yourself a favor
and switch to a newsreader, such as Outlook Express, which comes with
Windows. See http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/ou...snewreader.htm

If you do that, you'll find that getting to your own posts will be much
easier.

I strongly agree with the others, use a newsreader. In the meantime the
best way to find old posts is through Google groups advanced search. Search
on your name as author; this newsgroup is
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general.
