| Mouse Problem I just bought a new Dell laptop and have migrated the DNA including settings. Both use XP2, IE7. The old computer works well. I use the touch pad on both. On the new computer when I go to control panel/../mouse/pointer options, and select the "snap to" option, that option only holds for awhile. And it definitely becomes unchecked on any reboot. What am I not checking to make changes permanent? Fred |

If the laptops are slightly different, see if you can find chipset drivers on the dell support site. That might help sort out some issues. Also, as a precaution (always) back up before installing something like chipset drivers. Good luck |

Dell inspiron 1501 Are you saying is this a resolution to your problem, or are you giving this as a suggestion to someone, or just making a statement, or asking for assistance? You haven't quoted any of the message to which you reply so it's out of context. Many people who post here use a newsreader, and only download the recent messages so we don't see what went before it. -- Rock [MVP - User/Shell] |
