basically i have just installed my senond hard drive and i want to make it my
slave but windows has detected it but its not appearing on 'my computer '
option, can somebody tell me how i can make my computer detect it??? so i can
use it to download etc???

any help appreciated

Needs to be formatted and have a letter assigned to be "seen"

Run Disk Management (Open Run and plug in "diskmgmt.msc") and format it.

Control Panel - Admin - Computer Mangement - Disk Management. You probably
have to format the drive first.

Open Windows Help and Support, Look up
partition drive
Click the "Create a partition or logical drive" link.
click "Using the Windows interface" link
follow the instruction.
