| vga disable my son disabled the vga monitor and now the computer boots but there is no display. I tried F8 but don't see anything to enable it. can someone help. |

I understand that you're not even seeing the stuff that would normally appear on the screen during the bootup process? Is the monitor's data plug still connected to the computer? Is it plugged into the power source (wall outlet or power strip or whatever)? Is it turned on? | Re: vga disable thanks Tim, my son opened desktop/properties/settings/advanced and finally ckicked on adapter. Then on the bottom theres a drop down menu that disables the vga. he wanted to change the monitor settings and restarted the computer. Now i can see the windows initial start up but after that, no display. |
