| Desktop Programs Icons I'm trying to copy program icons from one user profile to another on a win xp pro machine. This machine is on a domain. How can do this without having to reinstall all the programs to the new user profile? I hope someone can help me. Thank you. |

Instead of copying them from one profile folder to another, you should move them to the "All Users" folder. In this way they become visible to all users, current and future. |

| Re: Desktop Programs Icons Pegasus, I just tried your suggestion. The icons appear, but when clicked they attempt to re-install the apps. I am trying to avoid re-installing the apps. How can I acclomplish this? Thanks, H.M. | Re: Desktop Programs Icons This depends entirely on the application itself. I recommend you post your question in a newsgroup that deals with this application.
