Where is the "Show Small Icons in the QuickLaunch Toolbar" WinXP setting?

What expressly makes small icons in the WinXP Quicklaunch Toolbar?

I'm sure it's something simple to discover but I haven't discovered it yet.
Is it DIFFERENT than the setting for small icons in the start menu,
taskbar, and main toolbar perhaps?

I have small icons in my Windows XP start menu, small icons in my taskbar,
and small icons of programs running in the task bar but the quick launch
icons are all large. I haven't discovered the setting for the quicklaunch
bar but I'm sure it's discoverable.

I have already long ago right clicked in the quicklaunch toolbar to select
Properties, Start Menu, Classic Start Menu, Customize, Show Small Icons in
Start Menu.

But, still just the winxp quicklaunch icons remain large.
What can I do to explicitly set small icons in the quicklaunch toolbar?
I'm sure it's simple and easily discoverable but is it DIFFERENT than the
setting for the rest of the icons in the taskbar, startmenu, and main
toolbar?

If it matters, I have the taskbar locked to the right side of the screen.
This is to conserve up/down space on my small monitor for web pages.
Web pages seem to require more up/down room than side/to/side room.

Also I have the taskbar scrunched to as small as I can make it and still
see the icons. For example, the clock is truncated and the TSR taskbar
icons at the bottom are all piled up on top of each other.

R-click in Quick Launch Toolbar, pick View, and Small Icons.

Why not use autohide for your taskbar, it hides till you touch it.

In Display Properties, Appearance tab, Effects button, there's a "Use
large icons" option. Maybe if you deselect that, as a test anyway..

1. Right click the taskbar and untick "Lock the taskbar" (you can lock it later)
2. Right click on Quick Launch toolbar title (or double right click on the arrow)
3. Point to View and choose "Small icons"

Re: Where is the "Show Small Icons in the QuickLaunch Toolbar" WinXP setting?

Unlock the Taskbar first.

Right click the Taskbar | Select Lock the taskbar to unlock it | Right click
an empty area of the Quick Launch area and select View | Select Small icons

*View will not appear in the menu if the Taskbar is locked.
