| My Documents Hi!. I have Windows XP,Service pack 3...2003 Emachine T2245 computer.. I have three identical "My Documents"folders..I don't have a clue how this happenend... Going to the explore listing the one at the top folder address "My Documents"..Under properties it is called a Target shortcut to C:\Documents and Settings\Valued Customer\My Documents.. Properties show 4.86 GB and 1474 files plus 515 folders;Friday, Created June 13, 2003, 12:13:25 PM Next one is is location of C:\Documents and Settings\Valued Customer.. Again Properties show 4.86 GB and 1474 files plus 515 folders;, Created June 13, 2003, 12:13:25 PM Third one a folder called Nicolini documents whose location isC:\Documents and Settings\Valued Customer.. This also shows Properties as 4.86 GB and 1474 files plus 515 folders;, Created June 13, 2003, 12:13:25 PM Are all three necessary to keep....Thanks Nick |

The others are just shortcuts. As for Nicolini, possibly you renamed the generically named "Valued Customer" user account (that came with your preinstalled system - after all, the computer mftr. doesn't know who will buy the machine) "Nicolini". Simply renaming a user account is cosmetic only and doesn't change the underlying profile files/folders ("Valued Customer"). So yes, leave everything alone.
