Windows 7 upgrade from XP.

Sounds to me like a ms swindle. Now to upgrade to Windows 7 I've got first
to upgrade to Vista then upgrade Vista to 7.

Might be a better idea to wait for Cloud to appear and switch over to that
OS. Or maybe Safari. MS is not the only guy in the neighborhood anymore.

I wonder if MS will want to think about that idea and come out with an
upgrade from XP to 7.

Regards,

Re: Windows 7 upgrade from XP.

You have absolutely no clue what your talking about, typical of the
uninformed average computer user.

Windows 7 can't do an in-place upgrade over Windows XP. True.

Cloud? Good luck upgrading Windows XP with a cloud, or a Safari, I heard it
doesn't have any drivers yet or a boot loader so again good luck with that.
Perhaps your referring to Linux. Well go ahead, but again you can't do an
upgrade install. :-)

You can however upgrade to Windows 7 by doing a clean/custom install of it.
