| Unhide Hidden User Account My son was using my administrator account and somehow can no longer see his account when Windows comes up. We thought my son deleted the account by mistake. But when we tried to create a new account for him with the same name, we get a message that says this account still exists. I believe his account is hidden. How can I find it and have it visible for him to access again? Thanks for your help |

| Re: Unhide Hidden User Account If you mean displayed on the Welcome screen then try Power Toy's Tweak UI from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx Install, run and under Logon you will find check boxes to select the accounts you want displayed and in the Autologon you can choose to Enable/Disable it by Checking or un-checking the 'Logon automatically' option. TweakUI is a very useful tool and is relatively safe for most users as they don't need to use the registry editor or other less obvious methods to make changes to Windows. More Detail on available features in Tweak UI: http://www.winxpsolution.com/Tweakuixppro.aspx -- JS http://www.pagestart.com "Xavier" <Xavier@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B7701882-5925-4E4D-AEDA-F3880B4F300A@microsoft.com... > My son was using my administrator account and somehow can no longer see > his > account when Windows comes up. Thanks for your help In addition to using TweakUI, at the Welcome screen, press Control+Alt+Delete twice to get the login window. Enter his user name and password, press Enter. HTH -pk |
