IE7 opening in small screen

Hi,
I use OE 6 and IE 7 on My XP pro PC.
When using OE 6 Everthing works out fine,but when using IE 7
all pages come out minimised thus needed to be maximised by
the restore button at top of screen.
Have tried lots of leads to cure to no
avail ,
Any body with fresh Ideas ,I would be pleased to hear
from.

Minimized = just an icon on the taskbar
Normal = a window smaller that Maximized.

Assuming a Normal window, Windows remembers the size of the last Normal IE
window closed.
Open such a window.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.
