Mouse Buttons How does one disable the right mouse button completely? I am using a computer to let people surf only one URL, in KIOSK mode. I want to turn of the right mouse button so that it does nothing. Any ideas?

Re: Mouse Buttons Hello Metria, Don't know how to disable the right mouse button - other than breaking it off! How are you setting kiosk mode? Hopefully not simply with the F11 key so that a user can hit the F11 key to get the menus back, but like this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/154780 Note the shortcut keys still available. If you are using XP-pro you can set a Group Policy to disable the right-click context menu in Internet Explorer like this: Go to Start => Run and type in "gpedit.msc" {without the quotes} Navigate to this location: User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Browser menus In the right-hand pane, double-click on 'Disable context menu' and set it to 'Enabled'. Close and re-open Internet Explorer. -------------------------------------------------------- If it's XP-home it should be possible to do the same with a Registry edit, if this is what you want.

Re: Mouse Buttons I am running a shell to IEXPLORE.EXE -K That seems to work just fine. I will try your other suggestions & see if it works... Thanks. Basically I just want the user to be able to browse one website, and thats it. All three buttons can be set to the same Click/Select option. Perhaps this can be done with the drivers for your mouse. -- Joe =o)
