| Blue border down left hand side of screen I reset the start menu from classic and then for some reason a 3" wide vertical line came up on the left hand side of the screen permanantly with the folder tasks, other places and details boxes on it, the sames as in a normal window explorer box but without any of the other parts. I have tried everything I can thin kof but to no avail, any ideas of how to get rid of it? -- Thanks for your help The Nobrainer of Somerset www.propertyrefurbishment.net |

If so, to get rid of it, go to Doug Knox's site, http://www.dougknox.com. On the left, click Win XP Fixes, then Remove Common Tasks from Desktop. -- Ken Blake - Microsoft MVP Windows: Shell/User Please reply to the newsgroup |
