Automatic Shut down

I recently re installed Windows XP Home after a disk corruption and now the
automatic shutdown no longer operates instead I get the message "It is now
safe" etc. Where do I look for the settings to enable auto shutdown and what
should they be please?

Hi D, you're up early today! The answer lies in Control Panel\power
