Hi Kerry, Desktop is not a file, it's a folder that is created under each account, as is the My Documents folder. Log in to the Administrator account. Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator. From there you will see the Desktop and My Documents folders. Open each one and select the files you want (use Ctrl-left click for non-contiguous files) and press Ctrl-X to Cut. Navigate to your folder and press Ctrl-V to Paste. | Re: user account deleted Terry They are not there, I can access them only while my computer is a safe mode and they only show up in the administrator folder, they don't show up when my computer is operated in regular mode "Terry R." wrote: > The date and time was Monday, March 16, 2009 10:47:01 AM, and on a whim, > kerry pounded out on the keyboard: > > > They are only shown in user accounts under administrator account in safe > > mode, how can I get them to show up or put them back into my current files? > > > > "Terry R." wrote: > > > >> The date and time was Monday, March 16, 2009 9:51:02 AM, and on a whim, > >> kerry pounded out on the keyboard: > >> > >>> I delected owner account in user accounts. I would COPY whatever you have in the Administrator account to your new account locations (Desktop & My Documents), then VERIFY you can access them okay when you log in normally, then DELETE them from the Administrator location in Safe Mode (if that's the only way you can see them).
