| system restore and windows update disabled??? Just got a new computer and both of these are disabled. When I attempt to run windows update, I get the message "Error number: 0x8DDD0003] Network policy settings prevent you from using this website to get updates for your computer" When I attempt to run system restore, I get the message "System Restore had been turned off by group policy. To turn on System Restore, contact your domain administrator." Both services are set to "automatic", and I can't find anyplace using the group policy editor where these are turned off. Any ideas on how to get these enabled? Thanks |
