How did you do the reinstall? If this was a repair install it should have
left applications intact. But I'm guessing you installed XP as a parallel
install, or to one partition while the applications were in another
partition? In that case the applications will have to be reinstalled from
original media. You might just want to start all over doing a clean
install, formatting the drive.

Software needs to run on the volume it was set up to,if you want to move it,
uninstall,restart pc,reinstall to desired location.

for introducing and adopting the "registry" concept instead of going with
